1. Warung Bu Mi - The Queen of Nasi Campur Berawa (2 Mins from Aviator Bali)

Open from 7 AM until sold out (usually 2 PM). You will see a small blue tent with no English sign, just 10 trays of different dishes. Nasi Campur Ayam Betutu, Lawar, Sate Lilit, and her famous sambal matah. Price: Rp 35,000 for a huge plate with iced tea. She has been here for 12 years. All the Gojek drivers eat here, which is always the best sign. Go at 7:30 AM when it is freshest. No photo, no queue, just taste.

2. Warung Mak Jo - Nasi Ayam Geprek & Soto Ayam for Late Night Workers (3 Mins)

This warung is only open from 6 PM to midnight, hidden behind Pepito Berawa. Why is it special? Because this is where all the staff from Finns and Atlas eat after their shift. Nasi Ayam Geprek with super spicy sambal, Soto Ayam that tastes like Java, and es jeruk. Perfect after sunset when you don't want to spend Rp 150k at a beach club. Price: Rp 28k-40k.

3. Warung Suka - The Vegetarian Warung No One Knows (2 Mins from Tegal Sari)

Behind the shortcut to Batu Bolong, there is a 100% vegetarian Balinese warung run by a Balinese Hindu family. They make Nasi Campur Vegetarian with 8 types of lawar made from jackfruit, long beans, coconut, and tempeh manis. Even meat lovers love it. Perfect for those days when you are tired of meat and want real fiber. Price: Rp 30k. Open 8 AM - 4 PM.

4. Warung Seafood Jimbaran Local Version in Berawa (4 Mins)

Everyone knows Jimbaran seafood is a tourist trap now (Rp 500k per person). In Berawa, on Jalan Pantai Berawa, there is a small fisherman family who grills the catch of the day at 4 PM every day. You sit on a small plastic stool, they grill fish, squid, and prawns with sambal jimbaran. Fish + rice + sambal + iced tea = Rp 60k. Eat it 1 hour before sunset, then walk 2 minutes to Berawa Beach for sunset. This is the local Jimbaran experience without the taxi ride.

5. The Secret Morning Market - Pasar Pagi Tibubeneng (5 Mins)

This is not a warung, but a morning market open 5 AM - 8 AM in Tibubeneng, 5 minutes from Aviator Bali. Here you can buy fresh tropical fruits, fresh coconut, fresh jajan Bali (Balinese cakes), and fresh canang (offerings). This is where you see real Bali life. Mothers buying offerings, kids going to school, old men drinking coffee. If you stay in Berawa, wake up one morning at 5:30 AM and go here with your scooter. Buy fruits for your apartment kitchen. This 30-minute experience will give you more understanding of Bali than 10 beach clubs.

Why You Can Only Find This If You Stay in Berawa

If you stay in Batu Bolong, you are surrounded by tourist cafes and you will never find these warungs because you are stuck in traffic. If you stay in Pererenan, you are too far away.
